Ozark Trail Air Mattress

by Airbed Guy on January 7, 2011

The Ozark Trail Air Mattress is sold by primarily by Walmart.com. As I’ve seen this particular brand of airbed very often I wanted to give you some information on these beds even before I’ve had a chance to do a thorough review. I’ll give a brief overview here and do a more detailed review when each one of the mattresses arrives at my house.

The links below will open a window to the Walmart.com website with more information about the beds.

Ozark Trail Velour Top Twin Airbed

As with other manufacturers Ozark Trail has created a family of airbeds that run the gamut in terms of price and performance. With their lowest price Ozark Trail Velour Top Twin Airbed coming in at close to $16 you will be hard pressed to find an airbed for less. In fact, even if I did find an airbed for less I don’t think I would buy it and expect it to last for more than a night. If you’re budget is tight you can count on this airbed to be a solid performer for the price. Don’t expect to get that “floating on a cloud” feeling but it’s going to be a great deal better than sleeping on the couch or floor.

On the other end of the spectrum is the Ozark Trail Foam Top Elevated Queen Air Bed. This bed will usually run close to $90 and is a bed that I would feel comfortable putting my mother on for a week or more. It has a high quality memory foam top, with a double layer of puncture protection. Here is a brief review here and I will provide more information soon.

Along with the queen sized Ozark Trail Air Mattress mentioned above there is also the Ozark Trail Queen Airbed. While this is marketed as “perfect for camping” I’m certain that they mean “car camping”. Weighing in at around 30 pounds I’m not so sure that any one will be lugging this old boy too far into the woods.

Marketing terms aside it does appear that it will be a very comfortable model. What it has that many airbeds do not is an external really durable frame that will have you sleeping higher off the ground than most airbeds without all of the required pumping. That’s going to be a huge selling point, but again I will be providing more information on this airbed soon.

That’s my first round of information on the Ozark Trail Air Mattress.  As always please leave me any reviews or questions that you have in the comments and I will get back in touch with you.  Thanks!

I have a Ozark Trail double size mattress. I love it. I let my grand kids use it for a sleep over. They lost the cap to keep the air in. How can I get just a cap. The bed is 75″x52-1/2 x 7-1/2. Please help me find a cap.
